Sitting outside enjoying the summer's evening after a bath

3rd August 2001 - Dani has a mild attack of hives. 
Both dogs have just had a bath and are enjoying sitting outside on a warm summer's evening.
Max likes the way Dani smells after her bath.

3rd September 2001 - Max and Dani have kennel cough.
Max has a terrible cough.  Dani's nose and eyes are streaming.
Max doesn't understand why he has to wear the collar - he is miserable
Max is very relieved when the collar is taken off the next morning - so is Dani !

3rd August 2001 - Max has an operation to remove a lump from his side - the lump proved to be harmless.
He is sent home wearing a collar but he can't manage to walk properly with it and he is completely miserable.
Dani hates it and after a while she hides upstairs in the bathroom.
Dani nervously comes over and has a closer look.
